    The Rhinns of Galloway

This is the western most region of south west Scotland, part of Dumfries & Galloway in the district of Wigtownshire.

The Rhinns is a quiet area of Scotland largely forgotten by the Scottish tourist board yet the area boasts some of Scotlands most stunning scenery with a much milder climate.

What you are saying.

From Julie Mitch, Glasgow 15/05/2017 (Note left in visitors book.)

Wonderfully peaceful and well thought out indvidual pitches. Clearly designed by real campers. Local walks guides much appreciated and facilities generously provided and clean. Hosts were welcoming, and helpful.  A relaxing getaway success!

PS We saw you in The Guardian newspaper a couple of weeks ago, that's how we heard about you!

Just paying another visit, this is becoming a habit! Lovely campsite, lovely people, why go elsewhere? Be back soon!

From Ciaran Murray, 15th September 2016 review left on Facebook page.

Just packed up and left this morning after 2 nights camping.
Loved this site as it was like camping out in the woods but good toilet and wash facilities just a few steps away.
This has been a well thought out site with nice secluded pitches amongst the trees if wanted. There are clothes line at each pitch along with fire pits which is a nice touch. The only place you cant have a fire is if you choose the pitch in the middle of the trees for obvious reasons.
I would definitely go back here and highly recommend this site which has fantastic walks and beaches close by which was a real surprise for me as picked this site for its convenience to Cairnryan harbour only but a lot to see and do on your door step.
Great hosts and overall great experience.

Lovely site

The dog and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in http://male-viagra.com/ the pod. Given the rainy weather, the television was great. If IKEA produced pods it would look something like this - elegantly simple, safe and cosy. Other campers scarcely impinged on my consciousness - so well sited are the pitches. Kath was extremely kind in helping me with my new camping cooker. The toilet block is clean and warm and there is even a fridge to store perishables .

North Rhinos is a very friendly and welcoming place. Each pitch is individual and well thought out. Kath and Rob have created something quite special.

We were so fortunate to stumble upon North Rhinns. The site we normally camp at in this area was full................. and what a joy!! You can tell that this site has been set up by campers. It is beautifully laid out and the little fire places and cooking areas dotted about are brilliant. The facilities are compact but spotless and everything that you need is provided by the very thoughtful owners.  We will definitely return and would have no hesitation in recommending. Thank you
